The objective was to evaluate the effects of including licuri meal and ground gliricidia in partial replacement of corn and soybean meal on the intake, nutrient digestibility, zootechnical performance, and economic viability of diets for crossbred sheep. Four crossbred male lambs (½ Santa Inês ½ Dorper), with an initial average body weight of 19 kg, were used, distributed in a 4×4 latin square design. The treatments consisted of four diets: Control (corn and soybean meal-based), Licuri (inclusion of licuri meal), Gliricidia (inclusion of ground gliricidia), and Licuri + Gliricidia (combined inclusion of both). The inclusion of the co-products did not alter dry matter intake, indicating good acceptability. The neutral detergent fiber digestibility was significantly higher in the gliricidia diets, suggesting an improvement in ruminal fermentation. There was no statistical difference for daily weight gain, but a tendency toward higher performance was observed for the diet with the combination of ingredients compared to the Control diet. Economically, the Licuri + Gliricidia diet presented the lowest cost, representing a reduction of 32.11% compared to the Control diet. It is concluded that the combined use of licuri meal and gliricidia is a nutritionally and economically viable strategy for finishing sheep in the semi-arid region.
